We accept STEP, IGES, SolidWorks (.SLDPRT), and 2D DWG/DXF with a complete GD&T drawing. If you only have a physical sample, we can CMM-scan it and generate a working file for an additional fee.
Our prototype tier starts at a single unit. Production pricing kicks in at 25 pieces. Tooling amortization cost is typically recovered by piece 18-22 depending on complexity. We quote both scenarios so you can decide.
Yes, Defense and OEM programs are sourced from DFARS-compliant domestic steel mills. We maintain cerified mill test reports and heat-number traceability for every coil. Add ITAR data handling requirements to your RFQ if applicable.
Every press-fit is monitored in real-time via a load-displacement curve on our Multipress controller. The system flags any assembly that deviates from the programmed force window. A force/displacement PDF is archived per part serial number for production programs.
Expedite slots on existing tooling programs can ship in 3-4 weeks. New-tooling expedites depend on tooling fabrication lead team, typically 4-5 weeks. Call to check current shop capacity before committing. We will not promise a date we cannot keep.
We coordinate through vetted secondary suppliers for induction hardening, QPQ nitrocarburizing, phosphate coating, and zinc-nickel plating. All secondaries are documented on the traveler and certs are included in your shipment package. We manage the supply chain; you receive a single inspection-ready part.
